This web site originally functioned as a community site and resource of information for practitioners (teachers), researchers and school administrators in Computer Supported Collaborative Learning (CSCL) field. Community functions have moved to LeMill, but you will continue here to find news and best practices from CSCL community, links to CSCL research, and information about CSCL software tools.

The www.euro-cscl.org website was originally initiated by ITCOLE (Innovative Technologies for Collaborative Learning and Knowledge Building) project. The project was funded by The European Commission in the Information Society Technologies (IST) framework; IST-00-III.2 ‘School of Tomorrow’.

Authors of the website were members of the original CSCL community. The members were able to post news to the website, share their best experiences of practicing CSCL in education by posting descriptions of their school projects, propose information about different CSCL software tools and have discussions. All the news items and articles of the Idea Bank posted to the website are edited and published by the editors selected from the people actively participating in euro-cscl.org web site. This information, to the greatest extent positive, has been maintained here for its archival value to site visitors.
